Our Story

Welcome to Arrowood Lane Mini Alpines, and thank you for your interest in our herd of MDGA-registered Mini Alpine dairy goats.

My journey with goats began 16 years ago with a road trip from Washington to California, crossing over Grants Pass in a snowstorm to pick up my very first two Saanen does.

It seemed perfectly logical at the time, and after many years and countless goat-related road trips later, I wouldn't change a thing. From those first two Saanens, to Nubians, to Standard Alpines... I eventually found my perfect breed: the Mini Alpine.

After building a herd with strong Standard Alpine genetics from renowned, proven lines such as Tempo, Olentangy, and Redwood Hills, I turned my focus to developing the Mini Alpine. Carefully selecting high-quality Nigerian Dwarf bucks from some of the most influential foundation lines, I began creating a breeding program designed to preserve the dairy strength, production, and elegance of the Alpine in a more compact package.

At Arrowood Lane, our goal is simple:
to produce high-quality Mini Alpine dairy goats that combine:

We carefully select breeding stock from proven lines and maintain strict health protocols, including:
